SHOLLA TRANSPORTATION LLC
Zero Tolerance Intoxication Substance Policy

In accordance with the regulations of the City of Dallas Transportation Department and applicable state and federal laws, Sholla Transportation LLC enforces a zero-tolerance policy regarding the use of intoxicating substances. The misuse or abuse of prescription drugs, alcohol, illegal drugs, or the presence of such substances in an employee’s system while on duty is strictly prohibited. This policy applies to all employees and contractors of Sholla Transportation LLC while performing work-related duties or representing the company in any capacity.

Employees are prohibited from using, consuming, possessing, or being under the influence of alcohol, narcotics, illegal drugs, prescribed medications used improperly, or any intoxicating substances while on duty or while operating company vehicles or equipment.

Sholla Transportation LLC will administer alcohol and drug screening tests to its employees and contractors, including pre-employment testing, post-accident testing, reasonable suspicion testing, and random testing when applicable.

A confirmed positive test result will result in immediate termination as determined by management. An inconclusive test result may require additional alternate testing and may result in suspension and or termination of employment.

Any employee who fails to submit to a requested drug or alcohol test, refuses to provide a specimen, tampers with a specimen, or leaves the testing site before completing the test will be subject to immediate termination.

As a condition of employment, each employee or independent contractor is required to sign a statement acknowledging understanding and compliance with this drug-free workplace policy. Employees must notify Sholla Transportation LLC in writing of any criminal drug conviction occurring in the workplace no later than five calendar days after such conviction.

The management team of Sholla Transportation LLC is responsible for administering, enforcing, and supervising this zero-tolerance intoxication and substance abuse policy.
